Les accompagnons

Tag-alongs attach to your bike so kids aged 4–9 can join longer rides without the wobbles or tired legs. WeeRide’s patented Sync Link Pivot keeps the ride smooth and stable, fitting 99% of bikes including oversized seat posts up to 40mm. Detaches in seconds when you ride solo.

Tag-Alongs That Grow With Your Child

Who They Suit

Tag-alongs work for children who can’t yet manage long distances on their own bike, or who are still building confidence with balance and steering. They’re ideal from around age 4 up to 9, with adjustable handlebars and a weight limit of 35kg. Kids can pedal along, coast, or freewheel backwards — whatever feels comfortable.

The Sync Link Pivot

Most tag-alongs use a basic tow bar that transfers every bump and wobble straight to your child. WeeRide’s patented Sync Link Pivot absorbs movement so the ride stays smooth even on rough paths or tight turns. The arm folds flat for storage or transport, and the whole unit detaches in seconds when you want to ride alone.

Universal Fit

The hitch fits seat posts from standard sizes up to 40mm diameter — far wider than most competitors manage. That means it works with mountain bikes, hybrids, and frames with chunky tubing. An additional hitch lets you swap the tag-along between bikes in seconds, so both parents can share rides. If your child outgrows a centre-mounted seat, a tag-along is the natural next step.

Safety Features

Every tag-along meets worldwide safety standards and includes a visibility flag, front splash guard, rear mudguard, and full chainguard to protect fingers and clothing. The 20-inch wheel and low centre of gravity keep things stable, even when your child leans or shifts weight.
